COLO Water Curtain Spray Paint Booth purifying the paint spraying working environment and protecting personal health, also enhancing the smoothness of the surface of the painted workpiece.
The odor generated during paint spraying and the small amount of unabsorbed paint powder are filtered through multiple layers of water curtains and discharged to the outside of the paint spraying room through the exhaust fan.
These booths are commonly used in industries like automotive refinishing, furniture manufacturing, and metal fabrication.
Water Curtain
The core of a water wash booth is a curtain or flow of water that acts as a barrier to trap paint overspray and other airborne pollutants.
Overspray Collection
As paint is sprayed, the overspray is drawn into the water curtain and captured.
Water Treatment
The water, now carrying the paint particles, is then circulated through a system where it's treated with chemicals to coagulate the paint into larger particles (sludge) and remove stickiness.
Sludge Removal
The treated water separates into sludge (which settles at the bottom) and floating particles that are skimmed off. The sludge is then removed for proper disposal.
Clean Air
The treated water is either discharged or recirculated, and the clean air is exhausted.
Water curtain spray booths provides constant uniform airflow in the booth due to constant pressure through water curtain as compared to dry filters that load with paint. It supports for large volume paint application or continuous production rates, it reduce downtime which means no need to change filtration like dry filter booth. Moreover, water curtain paint booth handles significantly more overspray.
